Under the administrative direction of the Head Start Education/Early Childhood Services Manager and under the direct supervision of the Site Coordinator, the classroom Temporary Teacher has major responsibility for all classroom operations including, planning, carry out activities, maintaining the classroom environment, supervising children, parent/teacher conferences, and supervision of classroom volunteers and teacher assistant.

Baccalaureate or advanced degree in Early Childhood Education or a baccalaureate or advanced degree and coursework equivalent to a major relating to early childhood education. Must hold a Special Needs or Teacher of Disabilities and P-3 Certification and/or Certificate of Eligibility issued by the State of New Jersey Department of Education.
Experience Requirements: Minimum three years experience teaching pre-school children, preferably in the Head Start/Early Head Start classrooms.
