  • Overview

    The Part-Time Program Assistant I will maintain, update, and support the CHS Kinship Program clients, database, and files. 

     

    Schedule: 25 Hours Per Work / Hours worked will be within Monday through Friday, 09:00AM - 05:00PM schedule

    Responsibilities

    • Send out reminder letters to caregivers who have not returned receipts.
    • Conduct daily receipt reconciliation with the case record and close out completed files in Evolv.
    • Conduct initial file reviews and send out missing document letters.
    • Scan and upload all documents sent out or received into Evolv.
    • Assist with maintaining the program filing system both paper and Evolv/electronic records.
    • Maintain and update the Evolov, KLG database and 211.
    • Responsible for emergency case management.
    • Effectively communicate and advocate for families with community partners
    • Assist program supervisor with planning and implementing outreach to promote the Kinship Navigator Program in the seven counties. .
    • Conduct field visits in all seven counties Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Somerset, Union, and Ocean
    • Assist program supervisor with additional program tasks as needed or when required

     

    Qualifications

     

    Education Qualifications:  Minimum position requirement Associates Degree preferred; Microsoft Office Suite; Proficient in Microsoft Access; bilingual preferred.

     

    Work Experience Requirement: Minimum two years proven experience working in a professional office environment.

     

     

    Other Skills and Abilities:  Must have excellent Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) skills and knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
