Overview

The Bilingual (English/Spanish) Program Assistant/Community Partner will be responsible for partnering with individuals, families, community partners and stakeholders to build relationships in both the Heritage South and Heritage North Family Success Centers and community.

 

Bilingual (English/Spanish) Written and Spoken Required

Valid Driver’s license

Schedule: 

35 Hours Per Week

Monday through Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm

Must be available at a minimum one evening per week, per center  and one Saturday per month per center.

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for partnering with individuals, families, community partners and stakeholders to build relationships in both the Heritage South and Heritage North Family Success Centers and community.
  • Works with the community to highlight strengths and identify challenges where resources need to be leveraged and developed to better support and serve its children, youth and families at both Mercer County Family Success Center.
  • Responsible for problem solving and providing general guidance to help individuals, families, and communities achieve success.
  • Plans and delivers center based activities alongside Family Partnership Specialists and members of the Parent Advisory Board.
  • Along with program supervisor identify trainings for Parent Advisory Boards at both FSCs on DEIB topic and promoting a culture of diversity, equity and inclusivity.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to the community and families to advance DEIB initiatives.
  • Must be 100% dedicated to the operation the FSC

Qualifications

Educational Requirements:

Associates Degree with two years’ experience in development or implementation of community based services, prevention programs, or any other human service programs. Additional education and related experience are preferred, such as a bachelor’s degree in a Human Services related field, experience in the provision of prevention related programs. Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.
