Overview

About Exchange Parent Aide (EPA): The EPA intervention is an evidence-supported service model forming part of a comprehensive, statewide family support services continuum that will provide supportive and educational in-home services for parents/caregivers. EPA will provide parents/caregivers with individualized family support, effective parenting skills and strategies, and teach them about enhanced social connections, social-emotional competency, child safety, and child development.

About Supportive Visitation Services: Parent-child visitation services for DCP&P- involved families with children in out-of-home placement to maintain and strengthen familial interactions and facilitate permanency. Services are provided in the least restrictive setting that maintains safety along a continuum of supervision based on family need. Core activities include ongoing assessment, visitation, aftercare (post-reunification support), transportation and documentation.

Overview: The Clinical Supervisor/Program Administrator will be responsible for providing visionary leadership and strategic direction to ensure the effective delivery of services, including services aimed at supporting EPA families in Monmouth, Mercer, and Ocean Counties and SVS families in Mercer, Hunterdon, Somerset, and Warren Counties The Clinical Supervisor/Program Administrator will oversee all aspects of program operations, including operations within the agency, staff supervision, program development, financial management, and community outreach. In addition, the Clinical Director/Program Administrator works closely with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) to implement, monitor and report progress on services. This role requires a leader who shows compassion with a strong commitment to enhancing the well- being of families and cultivating a supportive organizational culture.

 

Schedule: 35 Hours Per Week

Salary Range: $85,000.00 to $90,000.00/annual

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership:

  • In collaboration with DCF and organizations providing technical assistance and training, develop and implement strategic plans that are in alignment with the service’s mission, goals and agency accreditation process.
  • Hold a high degree of accountability for ongoing enhancement in service delivery and program development.

Program Development and Management:

  • Oversee the agency’s development, implementation, and evaluation of EPA while adhering to EPA’s Standards of Operation and Practice.
  • Ensure that the services are conducted through a culturally sensitive lens, including promoting inclusivity and diversity.

Supervision and Development:

  • Effectively supervise the EPA Supervisor and Visitation Specialists.
  • Provide clinical support to the SVS and EPA programs.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, professional growth, and employee well-being.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement professional development plans.
  • Provide additional support to employees with lived experience.

 

 

Qualifications

Education and License Requirements: Master's degree in social work with a LSW or LCSW and five years’ experience managing a program. Must hold a certificate in Clinical Supervision.
