Overview

Work Experience Requirement:  Two to three years proven experience working in a professional office environment.

Schedule:  35 Hours Per Week - 8:30AM and 4:30PM 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Assimilation of the regulations and procedures under which these programs operate
  • Assess program eligibility for NJCK program
  • Write and send preliminary and final agreements
  • Learn state software (CARES; EPPIC)
  • Enter child care agreements onto CARES
  • Update client addresses in CARES and WLS for accuracy purposes
  • Utilize WLS for client information, technical assistance entries and general case documentation
  • Accurately track and act on all paperwork due dates
  • Learn the process of re-determinations and issuance of termination notices as necessary
  • Monitor and track all parents who have had their child care subsidies suspended or terminated as a result of program violations
  • Manage child care problems and/or complaints about/from providers
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding program regulations
  • Communicate effectively with providers regarding program regulations/payment issues
  • Conduct payment analyses to resolve payment discrepancies
  • Advise providers about payments made and create attendance logs as needed for payment
  • Calculate payments needed on attendance logs created for adjustment purposes. Enter adjustments in EPPIC (E-child care software)
  • Review periods of service with providers so paper attendance logs can be created for payment purposes

Secondary Responsibility:

  • Receptionist duties as needed

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Position requires a minimum high school diploma; prefer a two-year college degree or other additional training beyond high school.
