Overview

The Program Assistant/Social Worker will play a pivotal role in supporting clinical staff and facilitating day-to-day functions of children’s clinical services.

 

Schedule: 17 Hours Per Week

  • Monday and Wednesday: 2 PM - 5 PM
  • Tuesday and Thursday: 2 PM - 7 PM
  • Will need to have flexibility to be available up to 30 minutes after the end of day in case of delays in client transportation/transition
  • Will need to be open to scheduling alternative hours (would be given advanced notice) to be available to support trainings that the Project Connect Program may offer

Hourly Rate: $22.6244 

 

Benefits: Prorate Paid Time Off

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the coordination and scheduling of consultations, professional development, virtual education, and staff meetings.
  • Provide childcare to siblings of clinical service clients.
  • Ensure proper and regular communication among identified workforce members about which program activities are happening.
  • Support staff with community outreach efforts.
  • Ensure purchase orders, invoices, and agreements are placed and processed correctly.
  • Assist Clinicians with data entry, scanning, and reporting.
  • Attend trainings as needed to support program objectives.
  • Identify community resources relevant to children served and their families, build and maintain relationships with identified resources, and support clinicians in making community referrals.

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Child Development, or other related degree.

 

Work Experience Requirement:

Work experience requirements will be based on the education level of the applicant as follows:

  • For Bachelor’s Level Applicants, must have at least 1 year of experience working with children and families, particularly families affected by trauma.
  • For Associate’s Level Applicants, must have at least 3 years of experience working with children and families, particularly families affected by trauma.

License

Required to possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
