The Infant/Toddler Teacher - Caregiver/Floater will provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for infants and toddlers while they are in the CHS Childcare environment. They will develop individual goals for children, provide on-going assessment on progress and facilitate transition into Head Start or other pre-school settings, support parents in their role as primary caretakers and educators of their children and encourage their involvement in all aspects of the program.
Salary: $34,239.365
Schedule: 8:30AM to 3:30PM. Up to 2 8:00AM arrivals per month for paid staff meetings and/or trainings and/or up to 2 4:30PM departures per month for paid staff meetings and/or trainings. 2 home visits per student.

Caregiver/Floaters will support and be assigned to all CHS Childcare and Early Head Start Centers, classrooms, and work locations as needed based on program needs.
Caregivers hired to support this positon, will be required to hold a CDA Infant/Toddler credential within one year of hire (program training provided). An Associate’s Degree (AA) in Early Childhood Education and Infant/Toddler CDA (Child Development Associate Certificate) preferred. CDA Training and materials will be provided.
Two years' experience in pre-school (infant/toddler) classroom. Experience should include the ability to adapt curriculum to meet the needs of all children including at-risk, special needs, and culturally diverse populations.
