The position of Bilingual Family Advocate is responsible for creating and implementing successful Family Partnership with families of Head Start Community; and for advocating on behalf of all Early Head Start Families.

The Infant/Toddler Teacher - Caregiver will provide a successful, safe and supervised educational setting for infants and toddlers while they are in the CHS Childcare environment. They will develop individual goals for children, provide on-going assessment on progress and facilitate transition into Head Start or other pre-school settings, support parents in their role as primary caretakers and educators of their children and encourage their involvement in all aspects of the program.
The Community Based Doula will provide emotional support, physical comfort and information to the birthing person and her family during the prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum periods.
Candidate must be available to assist with prenatal, labor and birth, as well as postnatal services as needed and must have a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the program participants. Doula may assist with a caseload of up to 20 participants for the year.

The Nutrition Coordinator is responsible for providing child and maternal nutrition support services for enrolled children, their families, and staff. In conformance with Head Start Performance Standards, provide nutrition support services to ensure adherence to USDA/CACFP regulations. Provide nutrition information and support to parents, children, and staff. Maintain and develop cooperative relationships with CHSofNJ families, staff, vendors/agencies, and service providers.

The Health Services Assistant assists with, implements, coordinates, evaluates, and provides assessment of health activities to ensure compliance with all Head Start Program Performance Standards and state requirements. The Assistant oversees implementation of all health plans and policies and procedures. The Assistant must interact with infants and toddlers, parents, staff, contractors, schools, health and other service providers, and community members.

Core activities include ongoing assessment, visitation, aftercare (post-reunification support), transportation and documentation.
