General Purpose: Under the administrative direction of the Education/Early Childhood Services Manager and under the direct supervision of the Site Coordinator, the Teacher Assistant will assist the teacher in all aspects of classroom management. The Community Based Doula will provide emotional support, physical comfort and information to the birthing person and her family during the prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum periods.   Candidate must be available to assist with prenatal, labor and birth, as well as postnatal services as needed and must have a flexible work schedule based on the needs of the program participants.  Doula may assist with a caseload of up to 20 participants for the year.  

The Home Educator/Visitor provides Early Head Start child development educational services, social services, health services, and parent involvement services to children age birth through three years and pregnant mothers. The Educator/Visitor will provide up to 90 minutes home visits to birth to 3 years of age clients weekly and up to 90 minute visits to pregnant mothers and families with the frequency and duration determined by the pregnant mother and family. Flexible and varied work schedule, including evenings and weekends required to accommodate family and program needs.   This is a CWA Local 1040 position.
